COME for the ideas,

stay for the conversation.

No Assholery. Self‑explanatory.

Cameras On (unless life is lifing). We’re here for real humans, not blank screens.

Critique Ideas, Not People. More curiosity. Less judgement.

Share the Air. If you’ve spoken twice, let someone else jump in.

No Monologues. This isn’t a TED Talk.

You Don’t Have to Finish the Book. Bring a chapter, curiosity, a question.

No “Shoulding” on Others. No unsolicited advice, no fixing, no rescuing.

Confidentiality is Sexy. People first, names protected.

Bring Your Imperfect Self. Messy, thoughtful, curious. All welcome.

Assume Good Intent, Hold Good Boundaries. We are adults after all.

Practise Great Tech Etiquette. Mics On When Speaking, Off When Not.

Be Curious, Not Certain. We’re here to explore ideas, not win arguments.

This Is Not Therapy. Get professional support if you need it.

THE vibe

the experience

  • No (but it does help). Come fully read, half‑read, skim‑read, or “I got distracted by life.” You’ll still be able to join the conversation.

  • Some participation is usual in a book club — but you can ease in at your own pace. Share when you want to, listen when you need to. No forced confessions, no being put on the spot.

  • Not always. We start together as a group, then we might move into smaller breakout rooms for more intimate, easier‑to‑speak‑in conversations. You’ll get a mix of big‑picture discussion and small‑group connection.

  • We meet on Zoom, I guide the discussion, and we explore the ideas, themes, and questions the book raises. Expect the unexpected. Interesting conversation, psychological insight, and the occasional mic drop moment.

  • No. It’s a book club with depth — not a group counselling session. You’re welcome to reflect on your life, but you’re not expected to share anything too personal.

  • Perfect. Bring your opinions, confusion, hot takes, and “I don’t think the author has ever met a real human” moments. All perspectives are welcome.

  • Between 60 - 90 minutes. Long enough to dive in, short enough to still have a life afterwards.

  • It changes — and that’s the fun. Each session has a different mix of humans, perspectives, moods, and energy. Some weeks are spicy, some are thoughtful, some are unexpectedly hilarious. The only guarantee is that it’ll be real, grounded, and human.

  • $10 per person, per session — live on Zoom.

  • I keep it cosy. No more than 15. Big enough for spark, small enough for depth.
